Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba has made a number of changes to his squad for the 2018 World Cup qualifier at home to Senegal on November 12.
Mashaba announced a recall for 31-year-old BidVest Wits winger Daine Klate, and also handed a first call-up to Dutch-born forward Lars Veldwijk, who plays for Kortrijk in Belgium.
Klate has been rewarded for some fine form for Wits this season and will provide improved delivery from the left-hand side of midfield.
Veldwijk qualifies for South Africa through his father and had expressed an interest in representing the country last season. He is a tall forward who scored 14 goals last season in the Dutch top-flight for PEC Zwolle.
Ronwen Williams, Clayton Daniels, Bradley Grobler and Thuso Phala (all SuperSport United), Rivaldo Coetzee (Ajax Cape Town) and Asavela Mbekile (Mamelodi Sundowns) also earn recalls to the squad.
Andile Jali has returned after missing the 1-1 draw in Burkina Faso earlier this month through injury and will be a welcome addition to the midfield.
Bafana host Senegal at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on November 12.
